Short version: this site does not use cookies. There is nothing to accept and nothing to opt out of.

What is not here
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can
recognise you later. Related technologies —
localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB,
tracking pixels, browser fingerprinting — do the same job by
different means.
This site uses none of them. Specifically, it has:
- no cookies, first-party or third-party;
- no
localStorage,sessionStorageor IndexedDB writes; - no analytics or measurement tool of any kind;
- no advertising or social-media pixels;
- no embedded iframes, videos, maps or share widgets;
- no fonts, scripts or stylesheets loaded from anyone else's server.
The only JavaScript on the site runs entirely in your browser: it counts up the numbers in the statistics row, works out how long I have been alive, and scrambles link text while you hover over it. None of it records anything, and none of it sends anything anywhere.
Why there is no consent banner
Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 requires consent before a site stores information on, or reads information from, your device — unless doing so is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for.
Since this site stores nothing and reads nothing, that duty is never triggered. Putting a consent banner here would be asking permission for something that is not happening. So there isn't one.
What your browser does on its own
Your browser will cache the page, the stylesheet, the fonts and the photograph so that a second visit loads faster. That is ordinary HTTP caching, controlled by your browser rather than by this site, and it is not readable by me. You can clear it from your browser settings at any time.
The host
This site is served through Cloudflare, which can in principle set a
strictly-necessary security cookie (for example __cf_bm,
used to distinguish bots from people) on sites that have its bot
management features switched on. Those features are not enabled here,
and as of the date above the site returns no Set-Cookie
header at all.
Cookies of that type would be exempt from the consent requirement in any case, as strictly necessary for security. If I ever turn such a feature on, I will say so on this page.
Checking this for yourself
You do not have to take my word for it. Open your browser's developer tools, look under Application → Storage (or Storage in Firefox), and you will find the cookie jar and every storage area empty for this domain.
